Launched Double opt-in for email

• merchants can now enable double opt-in
• this means customers who subscribe will get a confirmation email
• customers have to click on the email confirmation for them to become a subscriber
  • if they don't click on email confirmation, they don't get created as a subscriber for our merchants

What does this mean for merchants?

• clean subscriber lists with high-intent customers
• better email deliverability, low bounce rate
• [risk] might mean slower list growth

Who did we release to?

• all merchants
• DOI will only be shown to merchants who have email enabled

Tracking

• we will be appending this dashboard with tracking for # of merchants who have enabled DOI — will be up by tomorrow
